8. User Access, Retrieval, Correction, and Deletion
Depending on device model, enabled features, and technical availability, users may access certain account, device, and product-generated information through the ezDevice app, Cloud4UIS portal, or device interface.
Where supported, users may request retrieval, correction, or deletion of personal information or device-related data through the Application, account process, device interface, or the contact information listed below. Data may be provided in a structured, commonly used format where technically feasible and legally required.
A device factory reset may erase user data stored locally on the device and delete related cloud-stored device data. Cloud-stored data deletion is handled according to this Policy.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no system, network, device, transmission, or storage method is completely secure.

1. Nature of Data
Personal and non-personal data: The product and related services may generate limited personal data linked to a Cloud4UIS account, such as account email, device name, user-defined settings, and usage data that may identify a user. Non-personal technical data may include device status, diagnostic logs, and operation or usage records generated by the product.
Product status data: Product status data may include firmware version, configuration settings, diagnostic logs, on/off status, and supported energy monitoring data. Where applicable, latitude/longitude data may be used for automatic time zone detection.
Customer usage data: Customer usage data may include product operation records, such as turn-on times, selected modes, automation scenarios, application interactions, and notifications.
General environment data: Not applicable. The product does not include a dedicated environmental sensor and does not directly generate environment data.
2. Estimated Volume
Interaction data volume varies by device model, user configuration, and usage intensity. Data generated through commands, configuration changes, and scene creation is limited and used to support operation, functionality, security, diagnostics, and service improvement.
In standby mode, the product generates limited status data, such as online/offline status, heartbeat signals, security updates, and minimal diagnostic data. The volume is generally low and proportionate to operation and security needs.
3. Data Format
Product-related data is stored in electronic records, such as technical or usage logs, and may be stored in databases or internal system logs. Where technically feasible and legally required, data may be provided in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format such as CSV.
4. Real-time Continuity
Data is not generally generated on a continuous basis. It is generated when specific events occur, such as device status changes, rule execution, alarm triggers, or updates to operational metrics such as runtime or energy consumption, which may be periodically recorded in operation logs.
5. Storage Location
Depending on product type and user settings, data may be stored on the device, in the mobile application, or on Amazon Web Services (AWS) servers located in the United States for synchronization, remote control, and cloud-based features such as push notifications. Data may also be processed in Taiwan or other locations where Mega System Technologies, Inc. or its service providers operate.
6. Data Retention
Retention periods depend on data type, processing purpose, device model, service plan, and operational need. Account-related data may be retained while the account or device remains active and for limited periods required for security, auditing, backup, legal compliance, or legitimate business purposes. Specific retention practices are described in the applicable Privacy Policy.
7. User Access
Users may access certain product-generated data through the ezDevice app, cloud portals, or the device local interface where available. Access may include device status, selected settings, usage content, and other usage information, depending on device model and enabled features.
8. User Retrieval
Where technically supported and legally required, users may request device-related data through the app, Cloud4UIS platform, or contact information listed below. Data may be provided within a reasonable timeframe and, where technically feasible, in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.
9. User Erase
Users may request deletion of personal data through the ezDevice app, Cloud4UIS account process, device interface where available, or contact information listed below. Cloud-stored data deletion is handled according to the applicable Privacy Policy.
10. Terms of Use and Privacy Policy
Users should refer to the applicable Privacy Policy and Cloud4UIS Platform Terms of Use for details on server location, data transmission, retention, deletion, processing, account terms, and service conditions.

11. Quality of Service and Integrations
Products may connect to related services or third-party platforms, such as Google Assistant, depending on user settings, device model, and enabled features. The type and frequency of data shared depends on user settings and may include account information, device status data, command data, and usage data required to support the enabled integration. Third-party processing is governed by the applicable third-party privacy policies and terms. Unless otherwise stated, API or SDK access is not provided.
