MSNswitch2

Routers, modems, switches, hubs, IP Cameras and network devices are prone to freeze-up. In 99% of the cases, all that is needed is a manual power reset. MSNswitch2 solves this without human interaction. No more truck-roll just to flick a switch!

MSNswitch2 will automatically power-cycle its outlet when either;
a) the internet connectivity is lost, or;
b) the monitored network device does not respond.

In short, MSNswitch2 acts like a watch-dog making sure that the network device monitored is functioning.

MSNswitch2 is made to be easily setup for ‘Auto Reset’ (also known as Uninterrupted Internet System ‘UIS’ function). After cables are connected just press the UIS. With UIS enabled, MSNswitch2 will automatically ping a default set of websites. If all these sites subsequently timeout, MSNswitch2 will immediately power-cycle the outlets.

Advanced users can logon to MSNswitch2 User Interface to change the preset sites. User can also setup so that one of the outlet pings an internal IP while the other pings the remaining 4 external IPs. This allows the outlets to reset independently depending on which ping fails. Alternatively,
user can assign the outlets to each independently ping a group of sites.
